The City Public Works Department will be removing trees from the median on Pearl Street during the week of December 1-5. This action is necessary due to the impact of the Emerald Ash Borer on the trees. As the City finalizes the design for multimodal improvements along Pearl Street, we will also consider future tree plantings.
Please note that there will be a temporary one-lane closure to westbound traffic on Pearl Street while the trees are being removed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain the safety and health of our community’s trees.
