Nominating petitions for the 2019 Annual Village and School Meetings are now available at the town office, 81 Main Street. Officers to be elected include:
Village of Essex Junction:
- Moderator, 1 one-year term;
- Trustee, 1 three-year term;
- Library Trustee, 1 two-year term, 1 four-year term, 1 five-year term
Essex Westford Unified Union School District:
- School Director representing Village of Essex Junction, 1 three-year term
- School Director representing Town of Essex outside the Village of Essex Junction, 2 three-year terms
Petitions containing at least 30 valid signatures must be returned by March 4, 2019
The Annual Village meeting will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Essex High School.
Voting for candidates will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
The Annual School District meeting will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at Essex High School.
