This fall, Main Street will once again swap cars for community for three Saturdays in a row as “Meet Me On Main!” returns for its second year.
From September 19 to October 3, Main Street will be closed from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy local food, music, crafts, and family activities. Each night ends with a family-friendly outdoor movie at 7:00 PM, with s’mores supplies provided.
The community event will have a different lineup each week, with new food vendors, performers, and artisans. You can try favorite local foods and new treats, find handmade items from local makers, and enjoy entertainment like magic shows, comedy jugglers, live music, and improv acts.
Each Saturday will include:
- Three different live performances each week, including acts like Troy Wunderle, Jason Tardy, Alyx the Magician, and musical groups such as Swell Acoustic Trio and SturCrazie
- Kid-friendly crafts, games, and hands-on activities
- Family movie nights featuring “Zootopia 2” (Sept. 19), “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” (Sept. 26), and “Toy Story 5” (Oct. 3)
The City invites everyone to bring friends, family, a good appetite, and a blanket or chair for the movie. For more details and weekly vendor lists, visit ejrp.org.
“Meet Me On Main!” is set to be another memorable event full of fun for all ages this fall.
