The City of Essex Junction is pleased to announce the release of the 2025 Bicycle Map, designed to help residents and visitors discover and navigate bike routes in and around the City.
The map was developed in collaboration with the City’s Bike/Walk Advisory Committee (BWAC)—a six-member group of City Council-appointed residents working to make Essex Junction a safe, welcoming community for people walking and biking. BWAC meets on the second Thursday of each month, and the public is welcome to attend. More information is available on the BWAC webpage.
This year’s map provides a clear, data-driven look at the current state of the City’s bicycle infrastructure. While many routes are highlighted, the map also shows gaps in the existing network. This transparency is intentional: recognizing areas for improvement is a key part of building a more connected and safe system for riders of all ages and abilities.
Printed maps are now available at the following locations:
- Essex Junction City Offices (2 Lincoln Street)
- Brownell Library
- Bespoke Bikes & Everyday Special Things
Local businesses and organizations interested in helping distribute additional copies may contact Michael Giguere at 802-878-6944, extension 1625.
The map is also available on the Routes & Maps webpage or below.
Whether you're commuting, exercising, or exploring new parts of town, we hope the 2025 Bike Map helps guide your journey. Ride safe, have fun, and enjoy the ride!
