The Crescent Connector is complete and fully operational as of Fall 2024.
About the Project
The Crescent Connector is an extension and reconstruction of Railroad Street, connecting Park Street to Maple Street
Key features include:
- Roadway improvements: a new segment of Railroad Street linking Park Street and Maple Street
- Traffic signals: modern signals at Park Street and Maple Street
- Multimodal infrastructure: new sidewalks, bike lanes, and street lighting
- Enhanced connectivity: an alternative route around the Five Corners intersection, helping reduce congestion in the village center
The project represents over a decade of planning, design, environmental review, and construction, supporting the City’s long-term transportation and land use goals.
