— Why Essex?

Interview with Mary Lou Pendergast, Owner

When I walked into CBD American Shaman, the first thing I noticed was the beautiful hardwood floors and artistic décor throughout the shop.  It made me feel as if I had just wandered into a boutique shop in a southwest tourist town.  When I commented on the store’s appearance to owner Mary Lou, she told me that interior design had always been a passion of hers, which led us into a conversation about her eclectic past work experiences.  These include floral design, computer programming, and caring for her ailing parents.  While I sat back in the comfy chairs in the front of the store and chatted with Mary Lou, I was also lucky enough to get acquainted with Bleu, Mary Lou’s sweet dog and “shop assistant.”

CBD American Shaman sells a wide variety of CBD products, including topical creams, gummies and dog treats.  Samples of most of the products are available to try before purchasing.  Mary Lou also has educational materials available, and loves to talk to customers about CBD.  Here is what one recent Facebook review had to say about the store: “Stopped in for the first time and was VERY impressed! The owners know what their (sic) talking about! Great products that work AMAZING!! I highly recommend them!!”

CBD American Shaman is located at 159 Pearl Street.  Learn more about current offerings and specials here: https://www.facebook.com/AmericanShamanVermont/.  In fact, all new customers receive 10% off their purchase!  Make sure to mention the promotion when you are checking in order to cash in on it.
