Utility bills were mailed on Friday, October 31, 2025, and are due by Monday, December 1, 2025. All payments must be received by the due date on your bill. Postmarks will not be accepted. If you have bill pay set up through your bank, please make sure payments are mailed to 2 Lincoln Street and will arrive on or before the due date on your bill.
Residents can request a copy of their bills from either the Utility or Clerk’s office. To do so, please email utility@essexjunction.org or Clerks@essexjunction.org or call 802-878-6944 and select option 6 or 7.
The City offers several payment options.
- Pay online
- Pay in person at the Clerk’s office at 2 Lincoln Street during regular hours (Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm)
- Drop your payment after hours in the drop box located at 2 Lincoln Street
- Mail your payment to 2 Lincoln Street
Stormwater Fee Effective July 1, 2025
The enclosed utility bill (covering the period July – October) includes the new Stormwater utility fee. More information on this fee and the Stormwater utility can be found on the City’s website www.essexjunction.org/departments/stormwater/stormwater-utility.
