Celebrate Green Up and Arbor Day by helping the Essex Junction Tree Advisory Committee plant young trees at the nursery that will eventually grace the streets of Essex Junction. For the past five years, the Tree Committee has been growing our own trees at the Branch Out Burlington nursery providing the City with beautiful trees at considerable savings to the community. It is a fun two-hour event.
When: Saturday, May 6, 2023
What Time: 9 – 11 a.m.
Where: UVM Horticulture Research Center (on Green Mountain Drive in South Burlington, off Shelburne Road behind IDX (now known as General Electric Health Care).
What else: Refreshments and door prizes for all! No tools or experience is needed to participate. The event will take place RAIN OR SHINE. Children of all ages are welcome, but please leave your dog at home (UVM policy).
