SteAmfest is a two-day art+innovation festival in downtown Essex Junction on Sept 21 & 22. We are seeking artists, artisans and makers working in 2D and 3D in all media including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, collage, photography, sculpture, video, data, sound, game design, installation, projection and performance for both indoor and outdoor venues.
Traditional and non-traditional artwork that explores or is influenced by science, engineering, technology and/or math and that considers the low-tech and/or high-tech relationship of aesthetic and experience in the 21st century will be considered.
Call to Artists is for artist exhibit and performance for the Friday night art walk. Art & performance will be exhibited in existing businesses and in vacant or underutilized spaces in downtown Essex Junction.

On Saturday, Sept 22, steAmfest features a music/performance stage, and an artist + maker market for which we are seeking innovative, creative, fine, wearable and edible arts and artisan goods in an outdoor market setting in downtown Essex Junction. The market is open to any maker, artist or DIYer. Interactive exhibits encouraged but not required.
