The Equipment Operator/Maintenance Technician operates various equipment and assists in general highway maintenance and construction work, focusing on the operation of basic to moderately complex trucks and equipment. The position also performs a wide range of general labor work associated with maintaining City water and sewer distribution systems, sidewalks, streets, buildings, and grounds. This position is responsible for plowing during the winter season, with the extent of plow work dependent on the position level the candidate is qualified for.
