National Night Out 2021

The Essex Police Department will be hosting National Night Out ‪on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM‬ at the Essex High School.

This event is conducted annually as a way to strengthen community partnerships and increase participation in crime prevention efforts. This year, we invite attendees to take part by enjoying free food and drinks, participating in activities at various community organization booths and getting to know all the various emergency responders in attendance. This is an outdoor family event with games and activities for the kids.

The event is sponsored by the Essex Police Department, Essex Police Employees Association and local businesses and community organizations. There is no cost to the public to attend National Night out. So come out with your families for some fun games and food and lets work together to make our community a safer and a more caring place.

We will be joined by Essex Westford School District, Essex Rescue, Essex Junction Fire Department, Essex Town Fire, the Community Justice Center, Community Outreach, the Town of Essex, Aunt Dots Place, Lions Club, Youth Safety Council of Vermont, Vermont Highway Safety, Service Rendered, Vermont Army National Guard, the Rotary Club, and many more local organizations!

Activities include Mini Golf on the Go, The Big Blue Trunk, Top Hat Entertainment, Child ID Kits provided by Woodmen of the World, a driving simulator, raffles, first responder vehicles, child seat safety display, and more.
