Lt. Governor Molly Gray with Village President Andrew Brown and Unified Manager Evan Teich

In late September, the Village of Essex Junction welcomed Lt. Governor Molly Gray as she walked around Five Corners as part of her Recover Stronger Tour in Chittenden County. Lt. Governor Gray began her stop at the newly constructed pavilion at Brownell Library. The pavilion, a product of COVID relief funding, features accessibility to WIFI and power to charge laptops and cell phones. Village President, Andrew Brown, Unified Manager, Evan Teich, and Representative Karen Dolan shared project display boards of the future Crescent Connector and the proposed Amtrak Station.

The Lt. Governor was guided through the Village to see the work in progress. The tour provided Village officials the opportunity to discuss affordable housing, grant opportunities, and the importance of keeping the lines of communication open.
