Get Out & About with Essex on Saturday, Oct. 2 and Sunday, Oct. 3 to enjoy all that a fall weekend in Vermont can offer.
Local shops and restaurants will be participating as well as local artists and musicians. Want to find some great deals? Essex is the place!
Looking to toe tap to some tunes and have a bite to eat? Bring your chair or picnic blanket and stay a while. Essex and Essex Village are inviting you to spend the weekend exploring to find your next favorite place to eat and that little store that has everything.
Are you an Essex resident?
You can receive gift vouchers to spend at participating local businesses in your community! The Town and the Village are offering two gift vouchers totaling $15 to Essex and Essex Junction residents to spend at their local community businesses. There is a limited supply, so get yours ahead of time for a weekend of shopping and eating out! Gift vouchers work like a gift card or gift certificate. They are worth $15 at any store that has the Out & About Participating Business badge.
- Gift vouchers will be available beginning September 27 through October 3, while supplies last.
- Pick up gift vouchers at the following locations:
- Essex Recreation office at 75 Maple Street: September 27 to October 1 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Special arrangements for pick up outside of these hours can be requested by calling 878-1376 or emailing recreation@ejrp.org.
- Info Booth (tent) at Lincoln Hall (2 Lincoln St.): Friday, Oct. 1 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Saturday, Oct. 2 & Sunday, Oct. 3 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day.
- Info Booth (tent) at Essex Experience (21 Essex Way): Friday, Oct. 1 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Saturday, Oct. 2 & Sunday, Oct. 3 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day.
- Info Booth (tent) at Barnyard Restaurant (1 David Dr.): Friday, Oct. 1 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Saturday, Oct. 2 & Sunday, Oct. 3 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day.
- Please bring a proof of Essex residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill.
- Each household stopping in to pick up gift vouchers will receive a free raffle ticket for prize drawings during the event!
- Limit $15 in gift vouchers per household.
- Gift vouchers can only be redeemed on October 2 & 3 on location at participating businesses. Visit the Out & About home page for a list or look for the Out & About badge on the store front.
