Main Street Sidewalk Replacement Project
Today the Contractor installed new pavement on the driveways for the Calvary Baptist Church and A.W. Rich Funeral Home. They started to pave the driveway apron for 53 Main Street but ran out of pavement.
Tomorrow the Contractor will pave the driveways for 53 Main Street, 49 Main Street, and the Main Street entrance to Champlain Gynecology, Skin Deep Medical Aesthetics, and True Path Wellness.
Tomorrow while the new pavement cools, the driveways listed above will be closed for approximately 1-2 hours. The Contractor will do the paving in stages so access can be maintained at all times.
Now that the Contractor has installed seed and hay mulching, we ask residents to please water your lawns to help the grass grow.
Tomorrow Main Street may be reduced to alternating one-way traffic while equipment or material is being delivered or removed from the site. Traffic control will be in-place to help direct traffic.
The contractor provides the best prediction of their next work cycle. Please keep in mind that construction is a fluid process, and sometimes plans must change based on weather, conditions found in the field, or other factors.
