City Council Engagement on Ballot Articles 2026

The Essex Junction City Council is gearing up for the 2026 Annual Meeting with a series of proposed ballot articles. In preparation, the Council is hosting numerous community engagement activities throughout February and early March, allowing residents to learn about the proposed articles, ask questions, and make their voices heard before the Annual Meeting ballot is finalized on March 11, 2026. Key dates include:

  • Saturday, Feb 7: Saturday at the Library, 11 AM-12 PM
  • Thursday, Feb 12: Lunch and Learn, 12-1 PM, 2 Lincoln
  • Saturday, Feb 14: Saturday at Essex Junction Market, 12-1 PM
  • Wednesday, Feb 18: Evening Exchange, 6-7 PM, Online
  • Thursday, Feb 26: Coffee Chat, 8-9 AM, Quality Bake Shop
  • Saturday, Feb 28: Saturday at the Library, 11 AM-12 PM
  • Tuesday, Mar 3: Lunch and Learn, 12-1 PM, Online
  • Saturday, Mar 7: Saturday in the Park, 1-2 PM

The City Council’s engagement schedule offers many opportunities for residents to learn more, discuss, and provide feedback on these important issues. You can also provide feedback online.
