The Economic Mobility Initiative is hosting a business networking and resource expo on August 25th, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the South Burlington Public Library. The event will feature a panel discussion with nonprofit partners dedicated to supporting small businesses, including the Vermont Small Business Law Center, the Vermont Small Business Development Center, and SCORE, a national mentorship program for small businesses.
Topics covered will include the top ten legal essentials for business owners and strategies for accessing capital.
The Economic Mobility Initiative is a regional effort organized by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, the City of Essex Junction, the Town of Shelburne, the City of South Burlington, and the City of Winooski. This initiative is grant-funded and aims to provide meaningful support to businesses of all sizes in Chittenden County.
