Bid Request:
Essex Junction Recreation & Parks (EJRP) is in the market to purchase one new 42 to 48 passenger bus. This could be a school bus or a multi-function school activity bus (MFSAB). The GVWR shall be under 26,000lbs. The bus should be not more than 32’ in length. The bus shall have heat. Desired, but not necessary, options include air conditioning, luggage racks, and under storage boxes.
The ideal delivery date to Essex Junction, Vermont, would be prior to August 30, 2021, but we understand that may not be possible, and are happy to accept bids with a later projected arrival. As soon as possible is best.

Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to:

Alternatively, all related bid materials can be submitted electronically in an e-mail to bluck@ ejrp.org.
 

Submittals shall contain:
• Bid price (including delivery to Essex Junction, Vermont)
• Estimated delivery date
• Make, model, and options included
• List and price of additional options available above basic bid price
• Vehicle specifications
• Photos of actual bus or advertisement pictures (if going to be built to specs)
• Vehicle floorplan
• Warranty information
• The name and contact information of three qualified references with whom the vendor has previously and recently provided a similar sale
 

Village Trustees Discretion:
The Village Trustees have the right at their sole discretion to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, to waive any informalities or any irregularities therein, to accept any bid even though it may not be the lowest bid, to call for rebids, to negotiate with any bidder, and to make an award which in its sole and absolute judgement will best serve the Village’s interest. The Village Trustees reserve the right to investigate the financial condition of any bidder to determine his or her ability to assure service throughout the term of the contract.
An invitation for bids, a request for proposals, or other solicitation may be cancelled, or any or all bids or proposals may be rejected in whole or in part, when it is found to serve the best interest of the Village.
