The City of Essex Junction requests feedback from the community concerning the 1 Main Street Park design. This survey aims to understand the community's opinion on the use and aesthetic of the "urban park" at Five Corners (1 Main Street) in Essex Junction. The City of Essex Junction appreciates the input and feedback on previous design concepts received from the community during Village/City meetings and other correspondences.
The following are some of the considerations expressed by community members and City Councilors as important to the design:
- Shade/street trees
- Seating
- Screening or buffering from the road
- Sustainability
- Safety
With these considerations in mind, the City is asking the community to help us narrow down options for the park's design by completing this web survey at https://forms.gle/wV8rd1R436h77bqdA. The survey will help David Burton from Ginkgo Design, and the 1 Main St. Working and Advisory Group get a better feel for the community's priorities. Please complete the survey no later than 08/08/2022.
