Apr. 1, 3:30-4:30pm - Whimsical Wednesdays: Watershed Model with Lake Champlain Basin - This hands-on, tabletop model helps students understand how polluted runoff impairs lakes and rivers. Topics covered include point and nonpoint pollution sources (urban, industrial, forested, and agricultural), toxic substances, phosphorus, pollution prevention, and watershed planning. Best for ages 6 & up.
Apr. 8, 3:30-4:30pm - Whimsical Wednesdays: Tinker Time - Take apart small appliances to see what's inside. Best for ages 6 & up.
Apr. 15, 3:30-5pm - Whimsical Wednesdays: Kids Movie - Join us for a movie and popcorn: A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of a grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. Best for ages 6 & up.
Apr. 22, 3:30-4:30pm - Whimsical Wednesdays: Play Dough Earth Model - Make a model of the earth's core with play dough. This hands-on program helps participants understand the Earth’s structure by visually and physically layering each part. Best for ages 6 & up.
Apr. 29, 3:30-6:30pm - Whimsical Wednesdays: Lego Fun - Relax and play creatively with Legos. Your creations will be displayed in the library. Best for ages 6 & up
