The Village of Essex Junction is pleased to announce that our Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) has been awarded the Energy Management Achievement Award by the New England Water Environment Association. This prestigious achievement is awarded to facilities who are able to demonstrate significant progress towards reducing the amount of energy used in the wastewater treatment process. Candidates are also selected based on their ability to successfully use new technology and their contributions to the water environment and energy industries.
