Interview with Heather Ramsdell, Owner

Heather opened a grooming salon out of her home in Indian Acres earlier this year.  She is far from new at her craft, having been a groomer for the past 10 years at Doggie Styles in Colchester.  Dog grooming allows Heather to work in a field she is passionate about, be a little creative, and watch her doggie clients grown and develop over the years.  One of the ways that she provides extra service to animals is by ensuring that they are in and out of her grooming salon, and do not spend any time hanging out in a crate waiting to be groomed.

According to several recent Facebook reviews, Heather’s love for grooming is evident to her customers, “Heather is absolutely amazing. She grooms my toy poodle who tends to be on the nervous side, but he LOVES going to see Heather. That speaks volumes! She also gives consistently excellent cuts -- the best of any groomer I have worked with.”

Hairy Paws Grooming is located at 8 Cherokee Ave.  The entrance to the business is through the back gate and up a short set of stairs.  To check out hours and look at more pictures of dogs (because who doesn’t love doing that), check out Hairy Paws on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hairypawsgroomingvt/.

Why Essex? “Essex is a great location, and very accessible to a lot of my clients.” –Heather Ramsdell
