Stop by the Winnie Belle Maker Space to design a quilt square inspired by the artisans of Gee's Bend, Alabama and help decorate our library this September. This project celebrates a distinctive African American art form known for its bold colors, geometric patterns, and creative techniques that transformed simple materials into extraordinary art. This Art Lab is made possible with support from community volunteer Bridget Meyer and the Winnie Belle Learned Fund. It is open to all ages. Stop by the ART LAB Drop In on Wed. Aug. 6, 2-3:30pm to get assistance with this project.
