Sleep Foundations: Birth to Five
Struggling with sleep for your little one? Join us for one of our most popular offerings, SLEEP FOUNDATIONS: BIRTH TO FIVE with Alyssa Campbell of Seed & Sew!
We heard your requests and changed the time of this event to be in the afternoon rather than night. Hope you can make it!
How many times have you woken up after a terrible night of sleep, feeling exhausted, and are actually ready to bring self-awareness, patience, and respect to those tiny humans…ALL DAY LONG? If they are sleeping, we are sleeping, and then we can be the best models and responders for/to them. If you’re feeling exhausted and having a hard time regulating your emotions, there is a good chance they are in the same boat. Not to mention the “whole brain committing experiences to long-term memory while you are sleeping” thing. Sleep is kind of a big deal.
These tiny humans are constantly changing. Just when we think we have things figured out and in a good routine, we are met with a 5 a.m. wake-up call from a kiddo ready to start the day when we are yearning for just ooonnneee more hour of sleep! You might find yourself in a bedtime battle resulting in rocking or nursing to sleep and you just can’t do it anymore. You are not alone. Most pediatricians do not have extensive training in sleep or child development, but they are often the first place a parent turns for support. In a dream world, we would have sleep consultants trained in child development in every pediatric office. Until then, I’ve got you covered.
I have a background in child development, training in sleep science, and years of experience with hundreds of children. I’m ready to support you with sleep foundations now and for the future that gets you and your littles optimal sleep while building emotional intelligence. Yep, that’s right, these go hand in hand. This is why I don’t practice cry it out, but I also wouldn’t expect kiddos to dive into a new routine without expressing emotions.
What we tend to see on the surface is often just the tip of the iceberg. During our time together we will dive into the science behind sleep, brain development, and how to support these littles with sustainable routines that support their emotional development. You’ll develop the tools to become investigators, figuring out the root of the issues, rather than simply “training” a child to sleep. I cannot wait to collaborate with you!
Cost: $45 per adult.
