Town and Village seeking FACE MASK DONATIONS

As stay-at-home orders gradually lift, the Town of Essex and Village of Essex Junction employees look forward to seeing our residents again. To best protect customers and employees, we will need face masks for municipal staff to wear in offices and in the field.

All Town of Essex and Village of Essex Junction offices and departments will remain closed to the public until at least May 3 to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Residents and customers are asked to conduct all municipal business electronically, by phone, or by email.

The Clerk’s Office, which had been open to the public by appointment, will close to the public at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10. Staff is working to make more services available online.

Effective April 1, 2020, all Essex Junction Recreation and Parks and Essex Parks and Recreation park amenities will be closed until further notice.  Parks, trails, and open spaces currently remain open as an important resource for health and wellness, as long as they are used in a safe manner.
