The Essex Jct. Fire Dept. and VFW Post 6689 will hold a commemoratiive service on the 10th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.  A small parade of people and emergency vehicles will march from VFW Post 6689 on Pearl to the Five Corners at approximately 8:00 AM on Sunday, Sept. 11.  The service will be held in Veterans Memorial Park from 8 to 10 AM.  Lincoln Street (Rt. 2A) will be closed to Lincoln Terrace.
