Brownell Library

Brownell Library

The Brownell Library at 6 Lincoln St. Essex Junction is one of Vermont's busier libraries with 135,720 visits in FY12. Brownell is a hub of activity for a range of users being located on a bus line, and within a walking village that a number of lifelong learners reside in because of Brownell's broad program offerings and an excellent book collection to engage their minds. Brownell engages users from infants through elders, addressing the needs and aspirations of professionals, students, families, young adults, persons with disabilities, New Americans, and the socially, culturally, and intellectually curious.   Brownell has long been considered the living room of Essex Junction. We try to accommodate the needs of the current community by providing them a comfortable place to read, research and connect with their neighbors, but also offer a place patrons can use and learn about new technology to enhance their lives.

The Library is located at 6 Lincoln Street, Essex Junction, Vermont 05452.
